Because their competitors are awful, that's why.

Five guys, their closest competitor, makes greasy burgers. McDs, Wendys, Carls... all crap.

Habit burger is perhaps the only other burger place that comes close to In-and-out, but they are not as ubiquitous.

I liked 5 Guys the one time I had it but after adding a drink and fries I think I paid over $15. And they give you way more fries than any one human can / should consume.

Yeah quality is real low at a lot of the chains . Many times food isn’t even served warm .
Much different .

Habit is good a bit more than In n out but still a good value .

Yeah it adds up . Their burger , the one with two patties is really filling though and they have all those topping you can add for free .

Yep!! Habit burgers are delicious and their Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad is also delicious. I wish that they could be in Texas!

The bolded is correct. Some of us () have lazily typed '&' or 'and', rather than the correct -N- as the 'part between the 'In' and the 'Out' on this thread.
