Whats the deal with people putting flyers and business cards on your car window? I live in Inglewood and once or twice a week all the cars in the neighborhood get flyers on the windshield, side windows, door jambs etc. The streets get littered and the flyers sometime get stuck inside the car doors and block door drains. Is this illegal?

As far as I know, it is not legal to touch other person's car. But at the same time, calling cops for this reason would be wasting their valuable time.

I picked them up from the floor. Even people with new cars get them. The problem is people throw them on the ground. It looks like a damn parade went by. Most of the flyers are for insurance, real estate, and other random crap.

what is the law regarding soliciting in condos in Los Angeles? I live in a condo which used be for seniors only, but now I am not sure. Is it okay to hang postcard invitations on door knobs on each unit to invite them to our party in the recreation room. Is that legal? We have a no solicitation rule on the books.
