Default catalina wedding...

I'd like to get a beach house for the ceremony, any ideas?

Google "Catalina Weddings." Pulls up a number of sites. I don't think there are really any beach houses along the beaches. But Twin Harbors might be a nice location for a wedding. Another option you might consider is Crystal Pier at Pacific Beach. There are small cottages on the pier itself. I know they're booked a long way out tho.

Some friends of mine were married in the theater of the casino and had their reception in the ballroom. WOW!

As the others stated - look into renting out the casino, it can easily accommodate a wedding reception. The ballroom is stunning - the whole building is a masterpiece.

Chewing gum - whooda thunk it?

Here's a link to how you can plan your wedding at the casino, including photos and list of services they provide. Too bad I don't plan to marry again - if I ever did, this is where it would be!

Thanks for the ideas, I've been googling all over the place. It's going to be a very small wedding and so the ballroom in the casino building, although a gorgeous spot, is a bit too grand.
