You know what REALLY stinks about the west coast???
Most of the rest of CityData goes to bed before you do! And then you're left here all alone, talking to yourself.
Heh. Just a little levity, folks...
(The good part about the west coast, of course, is that one has no trouble staying awake for the end of all the World Series games.)
Anyway...haven't been around the Cali forums in a while so I figured I'd post a shout out. Hope everyone on the LA forum is doing well.

Good point. It does pose a problem on message boards and especially chat rooms.

I had noticed that as well, JerZ. Of course, if you stay up late enough here, you'll run into some early birds on the east coast!

Hey I agree---I even find I am calling my kids at way to early an hour from NC to CA. Doesn't make them to happy either. And of course they call and I'm already in bed asleep at night. But I have noticed with the very early birds here on the East coast and the night owls on the West coast there seems to be at least someone up here most of the time!!

I stay up until 3:00 AM sometimes in case somebody calls me asking for advice on how to fix the U.S. economy and such.

You know, I used to do this a lot when I had a nursing baby in the house! I'd put him down, then be wide awake myself, and I'd check in to see which of my east coast girlies (sister, friends) were up so we could chat...
