Calabasas is mostly white with some foreigners from around the world (Middle East, Asia, Europe).

I used to live in Pasadena. It is a great city. Pasadena is very old money. South Pasadena is more young urban professionals with kids. Mostly white and Asian, however there is a well to do Black population. Some good areas are San Marino($$$), South Pasadena(very quaint and still $$) and Altadena(watch out for coyotes).

Watch out for rattlesnakes in Calabasas!

Calabasas is basically white wealthy families. It is just west of the San Fernando Valley. It is extremely hot in the summer. The schools are good. Many move there that have to work in LA, but want to live in a rich white suburb. It is a much newer delveopement than Pasadena and that area. Probably much safer also.
