Strong move: pose a hypothetical about L.A. being a cesspool, then ask for help. You'll do well here, OP.

Really depends on whether you can make it. On one hand opportunity is abundant but on the other the competition is intense, so it could go either way.

LA is what you make of it. Its true that a lot of LA is pretty dumpy and rundown and tired not to mention overpriced well that's all of LA but I digress. Homelessness is huge problem in LA and so is traffic. Check it LA before you move here you might like it or you might not.

The problem with LA is that there are way to many immigrants from the Third World combined with regressive NIMBY policies that create an artificial scarcity of housing. You have places in LA that have the prices of Switzerland with the demographics of the Third World. If immigration is reduced and restrictions on higher density development were to be lifted things would eventually improve but limousine liberal boomers want it both ways. T

If I could have something set up somewhere else, such as employment/way to make income and housing, I'd be out of here. But that takes time, money and sacrifice. Personally, I kind of regret moving here.
It's not glamorous like depicted on tv.
