The San Gabriel Valley doesn’t really have a lot of Indians. The asians here are mainly Chinese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese and some Japanese. There really isn’t a lot of Indians. The highest concentration of Indians in the area would have to be Arcadia. Even that doesn’t compare to the huge Indian communities on the East Coast, Georgia, Texas and Northern California.

In Los Angeles buses are not really efficient and not many people take them since they are very inconvenient. Most people drive. The driving time between Rosemead and Arcadia is usually 20-30 minutes which is not a bad commute.

There isn’t really a Indian community in the apartments in Arcadia. Most people living in Arcadia are mainland Chinese.

I would suggest to just live near where you work. Rosemead is a very nice community, there won’t be a lot of Indians but the commute would be very easy. San Gabriel, Temple City and Monterey Park are also nice areas.
