Just like now. Everyone drove like they were in a Nascar race. What WAS weird was during the 1984 Olympics, there wasn't hardly any traffic at all. I could get from Bellflower to the Palisades in no time flat. Nobody was on the roads.

This is really hard to believe. Ever been to Boston or NYC. LA is sooo tame by comparison.

NYC is tame compared to Beijing. At least they yield to pedestrians in NYC.
