Sorry if this has been answered in other threads, I couldn't find it.

I've had to move a couple of times around Southern California, and some apartments have a refrigerator and some don't. So I buy a fridge when the new apartment doesn't have one.

Then I move to a new place that does have a fridge. What do people do with their old fridges? I guess this must happen a lot. Is there a thriving market in used refrigerators? A vast hidden refrigerator graveyard?

When I was renting and needed a fridge I always bought the cheapest new model available for like $250-300 and when I moved out I would sell it on Craigslist for like $100. Last time I did that I had about 10 people email me in 30 minutes and had a guy and his son at my place with their truck to pick it up an hour after I posted it.

Sell, buy, sell, buy etc.. or look for places that have one or don't (if you already have one).
