This will likely continue as long as the rich consider LA a desirable location and that seems to remain constant....the rich are okay and they want cheap labor for their services....not great for the middle class though.

Yeah. All those things are actually going down everywhere else in the country and world. Costs/prices rising? Who ever would have thought of such a thing?! Ridiculous! Only in California ...

Increasing regulation in CA is decreasing wage increases. Wages relative to COL are increasing faster in some metros, other than Los Angeles. L.A. is notorious for low wages

None of that changes what I wrote, sarcastically. Costs and prices are rising everywhere. They always have. They always will. Some places are worse than others because of the pressures on the place caused by desirability. It works for you or it doesn’t. If it doesn’t: leave. Simple.
