Unions have a generally outlived their usefulness. In CA they are causing huge problems with the public pension systems being underfunded and with many public employees being paid more than their private sector counterparts.
I used to do salary surveys as part of my job in the public sector. Most politicians in CA here beholding to the unions and it is not a healthy environment when that happens.

I can also do without your name calling. You must be a very miserable person, but that's not my fault.

It's not "retirement." It's financial freedom. Good luck though.

Oh, do they have Applebees in CA? I haven't seen ONE here. LOL.

Nearly all of them in the East Valley have closed. Not much of a loss, IMO.

Applebee’s is the underside of the restaurant barrel. The bottom of the barrel would be a improvement

Hmmm....?

I'm not the one constantly trolling another state's forums and subforums. That's you

You troll the L.A. and OC forums all of the time, when you never lived here and have no intention of living here.

Instead I'm going to talk about my 20% raise I got last week. In addition my boss also is going to give me a supplemental bonus mid year through which should bring my bonus this year up to 45% of my base salary. In addition my wife is getting offers for her to actually start practicing and people are crawling all over her. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a 100K signing bonus.

Man it really must suck for you if you're so poor that even notice things like 50 dollar registration increases.
