Coal fired pizzas places . Only one I know of is in El Segundo but coal fired pizza ovens are illegal in city of la apparently .

Waffle House and Bob Evans are pretty good I’ve been there in Florida .

I’ve been to White Castle in Vegas , it was cool to check out for the novelty but not sure if I’d go there that often if they had it in la .

They are opening a Gino’s East Chicago pizza place in Sherman oaks . Hopefully it’s good .. never been to Chicago .

If you want good Chicago deep dish check out Masa in Echo Park ,

This place is wood fired (not sure if that is different) but they imported their oven from Italy and heats to 786 degrees (hence the name):

About Us - 786° Degrees Wood Fired Pizza Co

Anyway, best pizza I've had in LA area

I wish Juniors was still in business.

Not sure why anyone would want a chain place. Plenty of chain places around. So many amazing places that are in LA now.

Used to live close to Juniors , I know it’s called Lenny’s deli now . Not sure how it is have you tried it ?

Brent’s deli in Northridge is a very good deli .

Yeah I agree plenty of places to eat in the la area , some neighborhoods have better options than others of course but usually don’t have to go too far for a decent meal.

NONE OF THOSE...

Wally's Chowder House (Des Moines, WA)
Anchor Oyster Bar (San Francisco, CA)
Legal Seafoods (Boston, MA)
Poke Express (Las Vegas, NV)
Katz's Deli (Manhattan)
Falafel Stop (Sunnyvale, CA)
Tonkatsu Ginza Bairin (Honolulu, HI)

I do like Brent's Deli (for the bread and huuuuge portions) but Katz's pastrami is much better.

Los Angeles has pretty much everything...including Tommyburgers!!!
