I woild say of those areas listed, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, and Santa Monica should all work well. While on average LAUSD schools aren't the best, the ones in Palisades and most of Brentwood are. Santa Monica schools are, for the most part, good too.

You should live in Studio City. It's a Utopia.

With budget of 3 mil? No way would I want to live in Studio City. Average home price is around 1.3 mil and not near the beach. This family have the money and being they are wiling to spend it,there is no reason to live in Studio City.

Actually you probably want more than $3 mil if you want a nice house in the hills of Studio City south of the boulevard. $5-7 would be a better budget.

Although I don't recommend studio City for the OP as it doesn't logically make the most sense.

I do however know you can find nice homes for less than $3 million in any part of studio City. The only place that's really off limits in LA for less than $3 mil would be North of Montana in Santa Monica sadly it would've been my first suggestion for the OP. North of Montana is zip code 90402 winch is consistently ranked the 5th or 6th most expensive zip in the country and the 2nd in the state . Crazy considering it has no hills, massive gates, or even mega mansions. Last year average sale was $3.76 million right above Palo Alto. https://www.google.com/amp/s/patch.c...-expensive-u-s
