LOL. Traffic was lighter back then...as in 1959 when Ike invited Nikita Khrushchev to the USA. The Soviet leader visited Hollywood but he was banned from Disneyland.

Mickey was too good to slum with a red....I guess it wasn't such a small world after all.

To get this straight, you're not only sourcing a website the general public can edit (and god knows they're infallible...hence why China in your article shows three drastically different numbers by the millions), but you're also citing an article that actually has very few sentences except: The People's Republic of China has the largest fleet of motor vehicles in the world, with 332 million motor vehicles in 2018 including 235 million cars, and in 2009 became the world's largest new car market as well.

You also neglected to mention the other countries I brought up, while further failing to address individual cities within those countries. Two of those countries (though you addressed only one) top one billion in population, and have heavily condensed populations in fairly small areas relative to their country sizes. Hmm... seems like that would mean a greater concentration of vehicles where the people are. Plus, you're making assumptions the public transportation systems are "massive" in those places (for instance, Delhi and Jakarta have terrible networks in relation the number of people living in those areas).

That isn't really helping your credibility on this. On top of that, you never really justified any of the previous points arising from that fluff piece you chose, from the contradictory information to the limited scope of places. Just suck it up and admit you hastily posted information you didn't question or thoroughly check.

Well whether you - or they - like it or not...he is legitimized by the U.S. constitution as the leader of this country. What was the line in Band of Brothers? "You salute the rank, not the man".

ok, so I am sure the OP was just making a point. there are cities that have more traffic but at least many of them have a decent rapid transit system. For those of us who visit often or have lived in L.A it is awful, awful, awful. Most cities do not have traffic back ups for 40 or more miles and the rush hour doesn't go for 8 hours a day or longer.

No one here is discussing your views on our President. That isn't the point of this thread.

do you realize what a moron you sound like when you make statements like that? I guess you don't.

And you say you served in the military: for that I say thank you for your years in the service. Let me add, Thank God most who have served our country do not share your views.
