What type of info are you looking for? Shopping? Living? Schools? Traffic?

I can give you just a bit of info of those areas:

Buena Vista and Glenoaks - This is another nice area but lacks shopping in walking distance. Area gets pretty dicey south of Glenoaks on Buena Vista near the freeway due to apartment buildings with lots of latin immigrant families. Overall, still a nice area just not near the freeway. If you can stay above Glenoaks then you would be doing really well. Nice homes, nice people.

Pass and Magnolia - Nice comfy neighborhood with mostly single family houses. Couple of decent bars on Magnolia (Gradys is one of my favs). Youre near a post office on Magnolia and best of all you are walking distance from Portos Bakery on corner of Magnolia and Hollywood way. Nice safe area with decent shops within walking distance. No Starbucks though in walking distance. And, dont buy any dogs from the pet store on Hollywood Way just south of Magnolia, as they deal with puppy mills.

Pass and Oak - Cute little area that is getting pretty crowded due to the large apartment complexes that are there. There is a neat little pet store in the shopping center there that is family owned and is pretty cool. This area is just north of Toluca Lake where you have some nice restaraunts and bars (Timmy Nolans, Bobs Big Boy, Priscillas Coffee, Don Cucos) but they are all south and in reasonable walking distance. I call it dog walking distance.

Hope this helps.
