What is the approximate commute time from Valencia to North Hollywood? Is there mass trasit that would be quicker or is driving the quickest?

Thanks

I know I've gone up there from Studio City (nearby) and it's take 30 minutes but that wasn't in traffic. I'd guess 45 minutes in traffic up to 60 if it's really crowded. Someone who makes that commute can correct me.

I think the best way would be to mapquest the two addresses and you will get an accurate commute time.

Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope!!! Bad idea!

The traffic from Valencia adds to the rest of the Santa Clarita, Palmdale and Lancaster commuter traffic and totally crushes the freeway each morning, and it is repeated each evening as everybody goes home. You couldn't possibly do it on weekdays unless you leave very early from home and return very early in the afternoon. At typical commuting hours (7-9 a.m., 4-7 p.m.) it would take at least an hour each way, probably more, and that's if there are no accidents.

I used to commute from Roscoe/405 to Valencia (near Magic Mountain) going the opposite direction from the traffic and it took me 30 minutes one way, and an accident could make that 60-90 minutes. One time a semi crossed both sides of I-5 and closed the whole thing down and it took me 3 hours to get home! Remember, I commuted the opposite direction from what you're considering. I commuted the good direction.

Depending on where in Valencia, where in North Hollywood your commute could take 60-80 minutes one way each day. I always people to never commute longer than 30 minutes one way, and I take my own advice.

You might be in luck if your job is near a MetroLink station. I don't know that stuff so I'll leave the train advice to others.
