LArenter is on a distinguished road
Default Commute Question - East Pasadena to Downtown

I'm thinking about moving to North East Pasadena, between Altadena Blvd and Sierra Madre Blvd -- only a couple blocks away from the 210.

Quick question for anyone who lives in the area: Would it be better to take the 210 -> 134 -> 2 -> 5 -> 110 to Downtown

Or take the 210 get out on California or Fair Oaks and drive to the 110.

I know the answer is it depends on traffic/accidents, but I just wanted to know what should be my first choice.

Also, I would want to get to work around 9 - 9:20

Thanks in advance

The best route will be via the streets...the best bet would be to go into downtown LA through the backdoor.

Take Sierra Madre heading south to
Huntington Drive heading west (you are going to be travelling several miles but it beats sitting on the freeway)
Then Mission Rd head south to
1st Street and you are in Downtown LA
