Default A question about Walnut, LA.

Hello, May I jump in? I am contemplating a move to Walnut. I currently live in San Diego. My office would be in Irvine, but my job requires me to travel the entire LA and Orange County area. My impression is that Walnut is a quiet suburban area, that is "away from the fray." Lastly, and on average, how far is Walnut from Irvine?

Any and all feedback is welcome.

Thank you!

Walnut is a very nice community tucked away between West Covina and Cal Poly Pomona. It is approximately 30 min from Irvine without traffic, wuth traffic it could easily double. There are a lot of commuters who drive in that direction. Try to mapquest the route. Whatever mapquest says 2 - 3 times that is your expected commute. I've lived in the area and worked briefly in Tustin, it was worth the commute.
