Default It's raining!

And now another bulletin from the Los Angeles board's Weather Lady.

It's raining in the SGV...with thunder!

This is very cool. I haven't heard a lot of thunder around here in the past three years that we've lived here.

My plants are very happy.

LABlue is on a distinguished road
And I was always told it never rains in California LOL.

When I lived in Los Angeles last year we had one major downpour. Strangely enough I really missed the rain so I moved to Florida LOL

The weather has been particularly cruel this year in certain parts of the country. Good luck... stay safe!

Tornadoes...holy moley!

BrinSM, we rent and the gate was already there when we got here. But yes, most people who live off this main street on a corner have some sort of "barrier"--a gate, a wall, etc. The reason is that the street is so busy (a freeway spills off onto it) that it can be really dangerous for children and pets to run out. The gate/wall keeps everybody in.

Having grown up on the East Coast, I experienced thunderstorms all the time. However today, when I heard that first rumble of thunder, it sounded so strange and foreign to me. And I've only been living here for about 6 months!
