You're right- it used to a be a Radisson, but still very nice. And the restaurant is great. It's real close to the subway station.

You'll be fine mate.

Some of the areas south of Wilshire can be shoddy though, but assuming you maintain common sense (i.e dont walk into trouble), you'll be fine.

i live in koreatown. ive walked around at 2-3am in the morning before coming home from going out. i survived . but koreatown is pretty quiet, i feel safe walking around at night. the further south you go (south of pico), and the further east you go( east of vermont), the shadier it gets. i hope i got my directions right
