Manhattan Beach (Artesia and Aviation)
Anyone have any reccomendations about this area?? We have found some decently priced places in the area..... too good to be true? Anyways, any insight will be greatly appreciated.

It's a pretty good area, but it's the eastern-most section of Manhattan Beach, bordering Lawndale/Hawthorne to the east, which are not particularly good areas. You'll likely see a hodgepodge of 1200sqft places in the shadow of 4000sqft McMansions. It's also a very heavily trafficed area with Artesia being a major east-west blvd and Aviation a major north-south.
If you have school-aged children, be sure and find out if you're within the Manhattan Beach Unified School District, or LAUSD.

Buying or renting? Can't vouch for the rental quality of the area. But if you're looking for a starter home, you should be OK.

It's a good area and has some great neighborhoods in there too. I wouldn't hesitate.

I lived near that area when I lived in Redondo and would recommend it.
