Not a particularly bad area, but heavy industrial, not residential. But only a couple blocks from the residential area. Close to Recreation Park. Not Library Park. Plug the address into google maps- satellite view- and you'll see what I mean.

is there some reason that you are looking at housing in echo park, miracle mile, mid-wilshire and EL SEGUNDO, simultaneously?

go with the cochran street address, as long as there is off-street parking.

3471 W 5th St, 90020 (Near South Vermont) Near USC not a good neighborhood

908 Everett St, 90026 (Echo Park-Right off of Sunset, near the stadium)
Decent neighborhood -- not my first choice

526 S St Andrews Pl, 90020 (Near 5th and Western) Koreatown. Very decent neighborhood. Thumbs up.

456 S Cochran Ave, 90036 (In Between Wilshire and 3rd near LaBrea) Miracle Mile excellent neighborhood. Thumbs up - first choice.

211 Sierra Street (El Segundo - Near Library Park) Can't help you with this one.
Good Luck. You have two very good choices that shouldn't cause you to lose any sleep. If you choose the Koreatown address, you'll be down the street from a great hole-in-the-wall Mexican food place on Western near 5th. But if you can afford it, I'd jump on Miracle Mile.

Actually, I'm looking from Hermosa to Santa Monica and inland. My roommate screwed me over, so I'm looking for a place in a good area... any area. I'll deal with the commute short-term until I find something else and get situated.
