I have lived in the 90805 all my life. I am a college graduate ( high school teacher ), and I walk my dogs, ride my bike, and I have never felt unsafe. Every city has its good and bad and it just depends on how you perceive things. I personally would rather live where there is diversity than spend more money to live in a fancy dancy area where people are stuck up and think that everyone who lives in 90805 is on probation.
