I live in North Carolina and have to plan a bachelorette party in Los Angeles. I have several challenges and I am totally lost. Here they are:
All 7 of us are from out of town. The bride to be lives in Simi, but wants to party in LA for her party and has never been. 2 of the girls are under 21. The party will be on a Thursday night. 2 of the girls are big and beautiful brunettes who are afraid that they can't get into any clubs in LA! So, does anyone have any suggestions? From all my searching online it seems that most of the 18+ dance clubs only happen on the weekend. On the flip side of that, I've read that it's really hard to get into clubs if you don't have a certain "look" (ie. model skinny/blond). The bride just wants to dance, dance, dance - she doesn't like techno/industrial/rock. I'm down to 16 days and counting! HELP! |

the problem is the underage girls.
21 and over can have a great time in the city on just about any night of the week. under 21 it is limited. very limited. i would suggest a stripper show. THe arena in hollywood used to host a male revue(strip show) for women. lots of bachelorettes piling in and out of limos there. always so drunk and crazy. actually that might be 21 and over also... but you wanna dance right? its tuff. i havent been in the teeny bopper scene for years upon years upon years. also some of the 18 and over clubs in LA, might not be to everyone else liking. they might be a bit too "urban". with rap music and half naked chics. thugs fighting over them. not really the best scene (according to lil ocusins and neices and such). ill ask some friends and see what they say, but honestly they were all old enough to party anywhere. the big downer is the age thing. |

You really shouldnt have a hard time finding a club in Los Angeles. Theres hundreds of them....seriously. One that I really enjoy is the Avalon on Hollywood and Vine...not sure if its 18 and over though. The point is, that you have enough time to find something because with the amount of clubs in L.A. you will definitely find something right. City-Data is not the best place to ask this question IMO.

There is a private room in the House of Blues but the under 21s are going to be a problem anywhere in LA.
