I work in a 15 story building in Woodland Hills on the first floor. Yeah, it shook and rattled a bit. I was actually getting up to go put something in the mail when it started, so it took me a moment to figure out what was happening. Honestly, though, I'd rather be in an earthquake at 11:30 a.m. at work than at 4:00 a.m. at home. There's something so awful about being woken from a sound sleep that way, with everything rumbling and shaking around you in the dark!!!  |

BTW, it won't be all of California, it will be the area west of the San Andreas fault.
I did feel this morning's quake... a rolling motion lasting about 20 seconds. Nothing fell over here. |

Semantics. West is west  . Just drove by and PDR is still there. And he's got some $4.19 gas nearby at the ARCO on W. Manchester Blvd too.

I was getting ready to drive to Palm Springs when the Northridge quake hit. I lived your worst nightmare. I had about 20 minutes to go before I planned to leave for Palm Springs. Needless to say I didn't make it. |
