hello, I am moving to LA soon, and wanted to know where all the nice neighborhoods were located ( areas that are more metro based, expensive, and beautiful, as well as rich)
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What is your budget for housing?
What line of work are you in?
Where do you think you will work?
Why do you plan on moving to LA?
Your profile is empty, so where are you from?

How about everything West of La Brea and North of Pico Blvd until you reach the Pacific. Thats where I would search if I was moving around Los Angeles. Los Feliz, Silverlake, Encino, Sherman Oaks and even Downtown are nice too.

This list will be an encyclopedia unless you give us a clue what part of town you're landing in.

LA is big, so if you have money you have a lot of possibilities. Many of the nice areas are famous, so you probably have already heard of some of them. Here are a few you might be interested in:

Beverly Hills
Bel Air
Brentwood
Westwood
Santa Monica
Pacific Palisades
Malibu
Calabasas/ Calabasas Park
Hidden Hills
Westlake Village
