My family is thinking to stay in a RV, yet we don't know where we could park it in Alhambra and Westwood area...

Is it legal to park and stay at people's backyard?

It will depend on the particular city code but, typically, no. There is also a big push to limit RV parking in many cities around LA.

You can park along the 405 freeway/east side, between santa monica blvd and olympic.

There are several homeless people that park along that stretch.

I think if you pull it into someone's home, temporarily, it wouldnt be a big deal. Depends on the immediate neighbors. Are you talking 5 days or a month? Most likely the neighbors will call if it is more than a week.
