Hey Everyone;
I am relocating from the Philly area to L.A. and I have two leased cars and I want to find what the procedure was? I have talked to the leasing company and they said I can move with the cars out of state. But does someone know what the procedure was to get it registered and did it cost a lot and..........so on so forth.
I have gone to the LA DMV site and it is not very helpful.
Thanks
K

I hope you're planning on renting a trailer for the leased vehicles. The mileage to L.A. is about 3,000 miles. Say goodbye to those allotted 10,000 miles pretty darn quick..lol.

yup yup a little scared though. I have to figure out the lease thingy. The cars will be transported so I am not afraid about the miles. Am worried about the higher car insurance rate and the lease tax and all.........

You will also have to pay full boat CA registration when you arrive. Plan serveral hundred each car. You also have to smog them both even if almost brand new. Normally newer cars are exempt but if you come in from out of state then nail you with smog--figure another $50 per car plus a pain the neck.

Welcome to CA!
