There's a card club in City of Commerce and Hollywood Park, the race track in Inglewood. If you want a real casino (slots, etc) you'll have to go to one the resservations, Pechanga is pretty close by or if you don't want to go to the desert, the Chumash is about half an hour north of Santa Barbara. Happy Gambling.

Los Alamitos has a racetrack, no casino.

Hawaiian Gardens Casino, Commerce Casino, Hustler Casino, Bicycle Club, Crystal Park, Normandie Club are all card clubs.

Everything else(slots, roullette, etc) is on indian reservations. Games that are resolved by dice are not allowed in CA but some reservations have creative ways of resolving that in their own custom craps games.

The bicycle club in bell gardens and the commerce casino have both hosted the World Poker Tour. they are the places most people in LA go to play cards. there is also the hustler, and the one in Hawaiin Gardens, but i never been to those two.

for other gaming, you have the rez slots. pechanga. morongo, etc. but in LA, you have the card houses.

Depends on the gambling you are used to. If you like Las Vegas rules the only thing remotely close are Indian Casinos. I recommend Chumash Casino by Solvang (1.5 hr drive w/out traffic). Morongo Resort is a little bit closer to Los Angeles, Barona in SD is an okay casino.

Oh I just read that you like poker, by all means go to Commerce, it's the closest and has a large poker room for all levels of risk.
