The second apartments are actually in a nice part of town. You're walking distance to Burbank Town Center which is an outdoor mall/urban village complete with shops, cafes, boutiques, restaurants plus an Ikea and a department store. You can also walk to one of my favorite diners, Harry's on Glenoaks.

I vote #2.

So then Villa Bella Apartments in Burbank, CA it is.

Thanks!

sweettea1... I'll try to get that publication. Thanks.

Actually, the Burbank Oaks Apartments are in Sherman Oaks, but just barely. That building is a little too close to Sepulveda Blvd. I'm glad you chose the other one.

I stand corrected on location...the reason I deferred to my valley experts

All I did was google the address and it came up Van Nuys.

Sherman Oaks sucks.

You want to look into Palms/Mar Vista, No. Hollywood and Koreatown.

the most arts place I know of is Sana Monica, CA
but then I dont' travel much, I did work in Santa Monica though- the highschools there I think focus on Art like crazy. I've seen kids like ages 17-19 walking around with high end cameras around their neck. It's just a really Artsy kinda place. It's a "Hub" for Film production & there's a whole bunch of "Post Production Houses" (Post houses) Which are companies that do all the Digital Graphic Art for all the Commercials, Music Videos, Movies, Bilboards etc.. I worked in one.. It's really cool! and just about every other address in Santa Monica is like related to that business, it's cool..
