Default which state texas or california is cheap for student to manage part time job while studying?

hi friends can u help me out there im plannig to go us for master's degree. can u tell me between these two states which one is good texas or california. at the same time part time jobs opportunities should be there so that i can manage .morever should i learn some courses before coming to us like dot net,java to get jobs easy?

texas, definantly. i used to live there, everything is much cheaper there, but it's much more boring than cali there.

with residency a Cal State(CSU) school will be affordable doing work and schooling at the same time. a UC school will probably not be an option

There's a website that calculates cost of living. Texas definitely cheaper than California.
