Wouldn't you rather have a mayor who is devoted to his job and who gets things done that benefit the city even if he engages in some questionable financial practices rather than a mayor who's more interested in being a celebrity and living a celebrity lifestyle than actually governing?

That's exactly who I was referring to. And that's why L.A. would be better off with someone like Daley who is committed to his job and responsibilities.

Villaraigosa SHOULD have gone into acting, not politics.

In a week. I am sure he will win without a runoff. Even if Walter Moore, Zuma Dogg, and David Hernandez (and the other candidate whose name escapes me) manage to achieve the unlikely and force Tony into a runoff, he'd still win.

Agree? Disagree?

I grew up in Chatsworth during the pristine times eventually settled in Tarzana. Just by chance, I lost my house and ended up moving to Agoura Hills. I come to the valley now with complete disgust. Drive up Tampa Ave. from the freeway and see what walks back and forth from Vanowen and Tampa to Ventura Blvd. There is no hope, damage is done.
