When I was younger I had asthma, I have since out-grown it but when I had it the doctor told my mother that she should move to
Arizona. She never did so I don't if that would have helped or not.

Los Angeles still has some of the worst air in the country by a significant degree - particulates, smog, ozone and pollutants.

Check out the EPA web site to see the air quality reports. It has vastly improved since the 60's and 70's but still ranks in the top few in terms of worst air.

I hear San Diego is pretty good for asthmatics.
