I need some help. I just accepted a job in Northridge, California and need some information about the area. I need to look for an apartment in Northridge or in a surrounding area. What areas are safe and what areas are not? If someone could post information about all areas surrounding Northridge, including LA, I would greatly appreciate it.

I dont know any hotels in Northridge proper... but it sounds like you want to avoid all of the motels on Sepulveda north of Nordhoff... which have names like 'pink cloud' and you can guess what that means.
