Default Seeking Cabin use for one day near L.A.

I'm shooting a short film and need a cabin interior/exterior for one day in October. Anyone have a cabin they'd like to rent? Or know of a good inexpensive area rental? Thanks much!

David

Check out www.vrbo.com for a cabin in Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear City.

There are cabins in Pine Mountain Club on the LA/Kern County border. It's about 1/2 hour past Magic Mountain off of the 5.

Try different parks in mountains for low rates. Some have cabins they maintain that become available to rent after some date. Not knowing the dates they open for reservations you may need to take what you can.
It may pay to print a list of parks to add phone numbers and call. Big Bear may have one or more. I don't know the closest park with one.
It may help to ask for a park ranger or manager not a reservations clerk to ask if they know where this is possible.
You may try asking someone at say Big Bear to rent a cabin for half price during the week after school starts.
Are you going to make more films?
What type?
I'm looking for people to collaborate with.
I'm looking for a documentary film maker to document what may be the start of building an island 13 miles from New York and San Diego.
What is an Arkie?

Did you know there is a nude beach in Los Angeles?
