If I wanted to be super touristy and go hang around the red carpet/crowds this Sunday, where would I do that? Is that even possible?

Also, we don't have cable; is there a way to watch the show online? I'll be honest - i really only care about seeing Britney open to see if she does better than last year.

Probably not. I would think the people paying all that money for commercials would be a little pissed.

I am probably not the one to post about this (but anyway....). That is a big part of LA. Stars and Lights and Movies and Music (nothing wrong with that). Don't get jaded. This town seems to have enough folks who are "jaded."

Good, I won't worry about it then. And thank you for being nice to newcomers, we appreciate it, truly.

We drove by but it didn't seem like anyone was getting a good view of the red carpet except press and possibly paying guests? So we headed home.

The highlight though was having a dark-tinted-windows SUV in front of us and a limo behind us both turning into the studio... so we were "surrounded" by famous people (even though we don't know who they were).

I don't understand why people move here knowing that the city pretty is much fueled by the move industry, and then complain about it. It's nice to see that at least one person on this board is happy to have moved here and to see the celebrity-centric life we live. I don't mind since most of the women are smokinnn and they are almost always all over the news.

And I lived here all my life (only 16 though) and still enjoy seeing the famous people out on the streets whenever I do.

Check out Youtube.com for highlights of the VMA's. I already saw a clip there this morning.
