Did anyone else see 4 police choppers spotlighting an area around Valley Village/N. Hollywood? They were there for awhile just circling and shining on everything on the ground...

Thats a common occurance in the valley, but i've even seen them send out the helicopters to break up house parties.

I saw the same thing about a week ago on the 101 around Reseda Blvd. A mile up I noticed all the traffic on the other side of the freeway was stopped. I looked over and 2 guys are laying down in the middle the 101 surrounded by cops. The helicopters were still looking though. One must have gotten away.

You sure there were 4 police helicopters? Normal LAPD protocol is that only ONE copter is to be used. There was probably only one police helicopter (the one with the spotlight) and the others were probably news choppers that were flying off in the distance.
Police Helicopters circling around with the spotlight is a rather normal occurance in that area so its nothing big.
