cheap, long term, motor living parks
I am planning to buy a motor home and live in it for a while, but I want to be sure I can park in places that aren't expensive and that they are close to downtown L.A. Does anyone know of places such as that? Thanks.

I'm not for sure about the LA area but there are some by Disney. And they are expensive because of where they are located. I would advise against Anaheim Resort RV Park there. They charge over $1000.00 a month and the managers are horrible. I used to stay there when I had my Coach. It's also in a bad area with a lot of break ins. That's why we would never go back. There is one off the 91 but there used to be a waiting list. Sorry I didn't know of any closer to LA. Good luck.

Isn't Bolsa Chica Beach a State Park? If it is; then they only allow a maximum of 2 weeks at a time. And I'm not for sure if they have 50 amp hookups.

To those who are looking for RV Parks I would advise going to a RV Supply and buying a campground guide. They list almost all parks and campgrounds with lots of info on size, location, prices, how clean and much more. There about $25.00 but well worth the price.

I always see lots of RV's in the parking lots at Venice Beach, but I don't know if they can stay over night. But during the day you should be fine there and thats a good area to just kinda bum around and people watch. Have fun! Wish I could just pack up and do that, that would be pretty cool!
