That Arboritum in Arcadia is pretty big with lots of peacocks

Cerritos has good amount of Chinese (25%) as well. Cerritos is probably about 70-75% Asian. It's popular with the Asians because of Whitney High School which is probably the top 1, 2 or 3 public high school in the state depending on what year your looking at the rankings. The only probably with the school is that it does have an entrance exam if you if you move to Cerritos after the 7th grade to try and get it's virtually impossible. However, it's a lot easier to get in if you feed from the elementary schools as long as your kid is in the GATE program.

Is the San Gabriel valley mostly first generation immigrants, or are there many 2nd generation (American born Chinese) there as well?

first,second,third.It's very mixed,a lot of them live together with parents,grandparents
