Anyone Know Any Good Apartments Near Hollywood That With A Roommate I Could Pay Between 600-1200 A Month For Half Of the Rent!?!?!

You can get a studio of your own in Hollywood for that money. Check http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sea...=1200&bedrooms... don't rent any of them unless you personally have inspected it IN PERSON.

Another thing to be aware of is that LA apartments often assume that you will provide your own refrigerator. Be prepared for this possibility, OK?

Yeah, we were worried about that too; it's hit or miss. Some places include fridges, others don't. When you visit the place, check out the kitchen and notice if there's a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave and any other appliances you care about. We were worried we'd have to buy a fridge; some friends moved into an apartment that had a dishwasher but no fridge. But then we found one that had a fridge but no dishwasher.

Exactly. We rented a place with no refrigerator, and my husband bought one at the Goodwill for $200. You can also buy a cheapy little student refrig from Wal Mart. Or be sure to get a place with appliances.
