We have some actors out here in the burbs of good ole Santa Clarita - I think they like to play the role of Soccer Moms & Dads! There's a T.V. show being filmed on our street today and the Weeds intro was filmed out here. (Not sure thats a good thing)

I know some people live in Santa Clarita, which I find kind of strange. Otherwise, cities I haven't seen mentioned include: Agoura, Westlake Village, Pasadena, Sunland, Northridge, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Woodland Hills, and even good old Van Nuys.

A really super-famous singer lives with her almost as famous husband in a gated community in Chatsworth.

Interestingly many live where ever they choose. Many even have more than one home. Imagine that.

Some places in LA are sort of considered "old money" or more serious...like holmby hills....Aaron Spellings house is there, and the playboy mansion.

I think Pau Gasol has a place in Marina Del Rey? I think the LA times did a piece on him last year showing him in his new la pad.

A bunch of celebrities use to live in venice...not sure if they still do...Julia Roberts?

And Malibu, a bunch of celebrities live out there. Whenever there's a fire or mudslide, you hear about mel gibson, pierce brosnan, barbara streisand having to evacuate or their homes are threatened.

Julia doesn't live in Venice anymore (she made the mistake of buying in Oakwood - apparently no one warned her), neither does John Lydon who owns a huge chunk of Venice's apartment buildings (from what I heard, the former Johnny Rotten's wife forced the Lydons to move to Oxnard, apparently being in Venice closer to more single young women created some problems in their marriage. Less temptation for a middle aged guy to cheat on his wife in Oxnard.)

The number of celebs in Venice is relatively high even if lower than let's say Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, or the Hollywood Hills. Elijah Wood, Kirsten Dunst, Nicolas Cage, Jackson Browne (who's lived there since before it became fashionable),Dennis Hopper (who's lived there since LONG before it became fashionable), Eddie Van Halen, Perry Farrell, Kevin Shields, Ian Brown, John Leguizamo...the list goes on. You'd HAVE to be a big star to afford to live near Ocean Front Walk further south....
