Default How far can your bumper protrude into the RED ZONE!

I understood that there is a 24 inch or 18 inch limit that ones car bumper can protrude into the RED ZONE but not your tire(s). Anyone know exactly where this measurement is identified if it exist?

I saw a Mini with a ticket in my neighborhood and he was only about 3" into the red. Hollywood/Los Feliz parking enforcement is a biotch. Yes, it's all in enforcement. It depends where you live.

It really does depend on the meter maid. I spoke to one who said that his personal "red zone" was up to the tire, anything beyond that is a ticket. Others feel that even a 1/4 inch should be a ticket.

When I was a teenager hanging out at Zuma I had my car towed and it was maybe only 1" into the red on PCH.

Yup, same as speeding tickets. Some cops don't give a cushion, others let you go 10 over. It just depends on them
