I was just out walking my dog and what looked like a SWAT van followed by three cop cars turned up Shoup from Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills. Its 11:44 now so they must have passed at about 11:35pm. They were heading north on Shoup.

This wasn't 3 cop cars - it was like 30 -40 all in the carpool lane at about 7:20pm; I saw them at White Oak going west.

Maybe going to help with evacuations for the fire?? Don't think they'd be heading West for that though......

I'm sure. I've been watching the news for like 20 hours... nothing else has happened. The fire in Porter Ranch doubled in size, and those were probably a wave of replacements/additions.

i'm so tired of watching the news, i don't know how you can do it. i know the fires are a big deal, but there are also other things going on in our world, but the news is strictly covering the fires. This morning when I was getting ready for work, there were no less than 5 channels covering the fires and the traffic issues that they are causing. what about wall st. and the elections? apparently they forgot about those little things.

This is my first wildfire. Besides, I've now been through every natural disaster.

That earthquake a couple of months ago was nothing, wait till we get a real good one. What about the landslides, have you been around for those? Houses will literally be falling off hillsides in places like Malibu. Atleast we don't get tornados and hurricanes here.
