Well, if any of you all watch the World Series tonight you might get to see some overhead shots (courtesy of goodyear blimp) of the bustling city of St. Petersburg. I drive by the stadium every day on the way to work. My dad paused the video recorder during one of those overhead shots to reveal our "skyline". Then he makes the comment that we're really growing. After doing all this internet research on LA, what am I to say? I'm living with him right now and try to keep my LA plans to myself. I was at a park the other day and I just felt so out of place. There were all these perfect little white families and I'm just sitting there on the bench like some child molester. The husbands, you could sense that protectiveness in them. There has to a places where one can come to unwind without feeling like they're going to be hauled away. I think the park in this video fits the bill. YouTube - Falling Down (bum begging for money)
I just am rooting for the Rays because it's a good story, for one, two they represent the AL, three they represent the AL East and I'm a huge Yankees fan, and four they beat the Red Sux so that makes me happy.
