What are the politics like in MB/South bay?

Is it like northern cal?

Any details would be greatly appreciated!!

In my opinion, not like NorCal at all. I think the South Bay is predominantly moderate from both sides of the aisle.

Not sure what area you are referring to as "Northern California" but the South Bay is heavily Democratic [there may not be one Republican in office from that area of Los Angeles - maybe someone can look it up]. If Republicans say it is "moderate" than they are happy with the South Bay being Democratic. I do recall a gay Asian Republican mayor of one of the South Bay towns but don't know if he is still in office.

I would say the south bay, specifically manhattan beach, is more conservative than coastal northern California. The further inland you go, the less conservative it gets.
