I took the pics with my digital camera, put them on my computer then used the website tinypic.com to post them here.

I hope you make it out to LA okay and hope you enjoy it here.

Yes, try to post some pics of Manhattan during the winter... it will make me appreciate where I live even more!

Fleet thanks I am going to try to upload some pictures as soon as I figure out how to. I will be there this weekend hopefully in Santa Monica. I am researching the area and my uncle kind of knows his way around. I also want to visit Santa Monica Pier to go fishing. Here in New York fishing in the winter is a stupid idea and there are not many goo fishing spots here. Fleet the pictures I upload will make you feel so appreciative. At least over there one does now have to worry about freezing their nuts off.

the one I would have to say the low 40's is nothing. I would love it if it went down to the 40's every night here. It goes down to the teens and in March it will go even lower.

rnjulz What you said is the main point I am trying to prove. I know I will not feel cold for Christ sakes it is the west.

Like I said I work right across the street from South Street Sea Port in the Wall Street area and that is the number one spot in Manhattan to freeze to death especially the face that it is next to the East River. On the other hand Santa Monica is great especially right now anyone can go and walk out on the beach without a problem even if it is "cold" by their standards. Walking on the beach on the east coast is not a very smart idea unless you are wrapped up and have nothing better to do with your life.

Cold and really wet in winter but no snow. you will need to use your heating system during the night to stay comfortable. generally around 40s. No snow like in NY.

Hey Fleet those photos are great the place looks beautiful. Yeah appreciate life in LA it is so great there. Also these pictures look ugly because winter in New York is very ugly but when spring comes it gets nice and the place looks less depressing. What part of LA were those pictures taken I plan on going to Santa Monica I know the weather there is so wonderful.
