what's the best way to get from Sherman Oaks to the Kodak theatre, and about how long should it take with and without traffic

wealthtrader is on a distinguished road
The Kodak theatre isn't in The Palisades. It's in Hollywood. Take Laurel Canyon Drive over the hills. It's a congested road- especially after it merges to one lane. Count on half an hour(at least).

The 101 is the best way, unless you don't mind stop-and-go on surface streets. Plan on 15 minutes with no traffic to 35-45 minutes with traffic.
