Default Los Angeles - Multiple tickets on single violation

I received a parking ticket for a street cleaning violation. Twenty minutes later a second ticket was issued for the exact violation by a second officer, and put directly on top of the first ticket.

Every parking official I talk to over the phone says that it needs to be 24 hours between tickets, but when I appealed (the first one was paid in full) the appeal was denied. Does anyone have any information on what to do next? Or the specific code? I tried looking at the municipal code, but no luck.

Any help is appreciated. TIA

This is highly illegal. Did you provide the information from the first ticket in your appeal? If you did, then you need to request a hearing. The information you were given is correct they can't give you two tickets on the same day for thr same thing.

The city and state is broke.

You can appeal away, but you won't win. Might as well pay the fine.
