My hope is that Villaraigosa will develop a close relationship with Obama. Too bad he worked for Hilary & many Latinos preferred her. President Clinton was a good friend to Los Angeles during Mayor Riordan's term & showered the city with funding.
I'm glad the transit tax passed but LA is going to need federal monies to build the Wilshire corridor train to Santa Monica.
Maybe Obama will give Tony a job in his administraion.
This way LA can get a replacement who is interested in actually being the Mayor of LA & trying to govern & improve the city v. fundraising and plotting his next career move.

If obama takes any advice from mayor tony then he needs to be impeached.
Hey, just because you don't like Villaraigosa is not a reason to write unrelated opinion. If we held our elected officials to a standard that didn't include sexual affairs then we would have no mayor\ president. It was careless of Antonio & gave his enemies lots of negative ammunition.
What do you hope the mayor can get from Obama?
