I wonder why the protesters don't protest in Compton or Watts where an over-whelming majority voted for Prop. 8.
Because there would be a whole lot of dead gay bodies laid out on the streets if they dared to tresspass Crips and Bloods land.

It's a no brainer who would win if this group

clashed against this group

Those are great photos. Did you take them? You might want to add them to the photo thread. The Crips photo is great. Also the gay parade. It's why I love LA. A city so diverse. Interesting!

We can't blame the LAPD. New York City has double the police force per number of citizens than LA. Villaraigosa is trying to add 1000 more cops even if it can't be afforded in this economy. The LAPD have a new building downtown. So I guess some of our taxes built it. Has anybody seen the new headquarters building around 2nd st?

Talking Hehehe

I really don't mind when I was stuck in traffic for a while... I kinda enjoyed the show.

I just wish they brought some music and bands while they were at it.

Damn what a day for me to show my girlfriend Hollywood for the first time at night.

"Hey Let's go check out Hollywood and places so we can get a feel for it since we might move there."

Got off on Highland, headed to Hollywood...Sunset. Got redirected before that...I'm sure the Van Morrison concert didn't help.
Then she gets rear ended by a girl who didn't care at all. "It's just a lil tap", as she sits there in her car failing to get out to make sure there is no damage not only to the car she hit, but her own new VW with dealer plates. Gave my girl a "sure *****" smirk with a fake smile.

Anyways the Hollywood area was completely PACKED.
Whatever...protestors had to do what they felt was right...Police were just "there".
